Have you ever felt so angry when you are hungry, then my friend you are HANGRY. A new slang that has been used to define a person who's angry because of being hungry. And I know a lot of people could easily relate to this state of emotion. 

Sometimes being HANGRY would require extreme measures and immediate action. Good thing there are a lot food delivery services. But usually we are so clueless when to dine in, take-out or delivery, so sharing with you my Top 5 Occasion that calls for a food delivery:

1. Home-Alone - Have you ever been home alone and your mom didn't even left any food at the fridge for lunch or dinner? It makes life so easier that you wouldn't mind being home-alone again. You would even volunteer for it as long as mom leaves you some take-out money. 

2. Movie Night - This one I can perfectly relate to, me and my boyfriend are couch-potato heads that sometimes we would rather watch movie using DVD or online than going to movie houses. And perfect movie night moments like these are not really popcorn but sometimes pizza, chinese take-out, or burgers. It takes out the other things like falling in line for restaurants, debating which restaurant to eat (sometimes this usually causes our fights, hahaha!), not being worried of eating too long before the movie starts.

3. Overtime - It's a Thursday and you have a due presentation deck the next day, and you are cramming badly that you need to render overtime, but the canteen's already closed and if you go out of the office will take so much time, and perfect solution is food delivery, easier and faster and saves you a lot of time to finish of that presentation deck. 

4. Girls Night Out - Typical girls night out would mean out clubbing, drinking in a bar and just partying hard. But for some a perfect girls night out would be checking in a hotel ordering take out and just talking non-stop even just spending the night at a friend's house and you can order anything without anyone minding you speaking while your mouth is full. 

5. Vacation - This one we do it all the time, when were on a family vacation we usually travel with the kids so it's so hard for them transferring places and we do is we usually opt to order food instead during dinner this way we get to bond more and rest earlier from all the sight seeing, swimming and travelling. And it's also inexpensive, we get to save more money and use it for other expenses for our vacation,

Being a Mom comes with great responsibility and yes, it just doesn't mean taking care of her children and giving them TLC that they need. It also means making decisions for their little ones, and I being a single mom can attest to this challenge. Everyday, I have to make decisions for my daughter ofcourse because simply she's too young to decide on her own. And it might be the shallowest reasons, but whenever I purchase products for my kid that's one of the hardest because there are a lot of products out there in the market but only a few would stand out. And sometimes, your decisions are already influenced by either advertisements or even recommendations by your mom ofcourse or friends. 

But we have to be careful, because not all products can work perfectly for everyone. It might be a bundle of joy for them but your kid might not love and it may lead to any irritation or side-effects. My daughter is already 8 years old, which I thought would mean that she can now use the products that I use, but no since I noticed that her used to be long and shiny hair became so dull and dry that's when I decided that I needed some major decision-making again. 

Luckily, I have Carefor products that I am intending to use for my 3 year old niece which has super sensitive hair and skin. Good thing that this long weekend, Lazada is having a weekend sale and certainly it feels like Christmas already! You can now do your early Christmas shopping for your loved ones and not be guilty about it.

So lately, there's a lot of action-packed heroes that will be showing on the big screens this year. Like Batman Vs.Superman, Suicide Squad & etc. And I know because it has been an obligatory information for me since my boyfriend is a number one fan of superheroes, and I became one as well eventually. Hahaha. 

And this July, another great movie for all you fanatics out there! Which is The Ant Man, ofcourse I really don't know the history and all but I love the trailer especially that Paul Rudd is the main character. Definitely a unique character for him to play since we were so used to his comedic acts and but this one the kids would love.

Have you ever noticed that every malls and stores are having a sale? It's because of the Mid-Year Sale, stores and boutiques are also shifting from summer pieces to winter/rainy pieces because ofcourse  its the rainy season.

I personally have a love and hate relationship with this kind of weather, sometimes its good because it keeps you cool and relax but most of the time its just too hassle getting to any places plus traffic is worst on rainy days. 

So anyway, I visited Forever 21 who's having their "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" Sale, to my surprise there were less people shopping not unlike last year it was like a stampede inside their store at Megamall. The lines for the fitting rooms are shorter plus also the lines at cashier too, which is an indication it's not a huge it I guess. Mind you I visited on Friday evening. 

It was a sign that I can finish early since it wouldn't be hassle to look around, but to my dismay. I found nothing...

Nothing, I mean most of their clothes are outdated. Literally, I saw one dress that I bought 3 years ago, and it's still on their racks.Good thing it's on a different color and size. Tsktsk. Then I realized, that they might have just brought back all their old stocks for the sale. I wouldn't mind it because fashion trends just keep coming back, but Hello? Most of the clothes are tattered, like it had been through a moshpit. Some were just simply overpriced, you'll know what I mean when you go to their store. 

Sigh....

The Buy 1 Take 1 promo, was for me really confusing since the tags didn't indicate it, it just says a promo price. Some of the clothes are mixed up as well.. Although they have a good sale on their shoes and bags which is not bad but was really looking forward to more selections. 

Second stop is H&M which is also having their 70% OFF Summer Sale, This haven is one my go-to's since they sell a good selection of pieces from Womens, Kids, Men & especially their accessories plus when they say "SALE" clearly its jaw dropping. And once I went there, it was really full of people but you can still look around easily. There were cardigans at P300, Dress for P300, Sweaters at P500, I mean it was all a good deal. But then I realized, I wouldn't want to dress into something that more than one person has too. It would be so embarrassing. The items were all available in different sizes but just one color/design. Hahaha!

I was so dismayed that I wasn't able to buy anything, I felt like I was just window shopping when I wanted to do it for so long. Shopping for me is therapeutic.

Last June 10, was the Shop Til' You Blog event, an event hosted by Lazada Philippines that exclusively invited all bloggers to know more about blogging and how to create content with the blogger guru herself, Kryz Uy.

It was an event to really look forward for, and luckily I was one of the bloggers to be invited for the said event. So I chose the beige one since I think it's more perfect to mix and match with my clothes.

I am so impressed with the service because there's constant update either email or text message to let me know of the status of items, if it was verified, shipped and delievered. If all couriers were like this then I would have alloted more time to do online shopping.

Daddy, Papa, Dada, Papi, Popsi. Whatever you want to call him, he's your first love, he's the first man that loved you like no other man can. Today is such a special day, and it feels so surreal for me that I am actually making a blog for him.

He is such a quiet person, but once you get to know he is so talkative. He loves to make jokes that are so corny and so funny. He makes the best Beef Steak. He loves watching UFC every weekends. He is such a smart man, I mean he literally knows everything. He is a vinyl collector and a certified Audiophile. He is our official family driver. And he is my #1 fan and critic. Who he is? He's my Papa.

Growing up, I learned to love music because of him. I remember him taking me to his office in Makati and we would go to a music store in Greenbelt where we can listen to CD's and he would buy me my record. Whenever I have a new favorite artist, he would find a way to buy it for me. He is my first suitor. I can also remember the first time that he played a CD, and he played this song, its so catchy that I loved and then few weeks after Maroon 5 was #1. He introduced me to almost all genre of music. He made sure that we know and remember the names of the members of The Beatles band. I woke up every weekend to Galileo by Queen, Pink Floyd, The Police,  Eric Clapton and so much more!

We were so close. But a lot happened and I can't say that I have the best relationship with him now. We have a lot of indifferences, we always try to disagree to a lot of things. But that's what makes us family. There's a lot of times that I really don't get him but in his own little ways like making dinner, taking care of my daughter and niece, driving us to anywhere we want to go, carrying our shopping bags. In those little gestures, I feel loved and cared for.

He is such a great man, for loving my mother and making sure that our family is together and complete. He prioritizes family over anything else. That's why I am proud to call him My Papa. 

Papa, I know I have a lot of things to be sorry for, but I want to thank you for everything you've done for us. I know it's not easy being the only man in the house but you make sure to keep it cool. I know we maybe a little loud at times but you always find a way to have your own peace. I know we maybe a little demanding, but you are so patient on letting us do what we want. I know that you have a lot of things you want to do in life but you've set those all aside for us. And for that, Papa, Thank You!

Happy Father's Day Papa! I may not say it all the time, but you know that I love you. :)

June 12, 2015, Friday- is declared as a special non-working holiday because ofcourse its Independence Day. My officemates decided to spend the long weekend together. We decided to go to Anvaya and cap off our night at Fontana.

It's actually my first time to go to Anvaya, because we usually visit Camaya or Fontana instead with my family or friends. And my, the place was a hidden gem in the woods of Bataan. True enough, now I know why they are so insitent on going to Anvaya! Luckily, we were able to get special rates for a day tour since we have a member with us. Thanks Carly! (Your cards do really come in handy!)

So our #HappyBdayPilipinas officially started with me 5am call time, a no breaky even a cup of coffee, and getting lost in direction. Lately, I've been through probably what I can assume a phase in my life that I do not want to happen ever again, my daughter getting a surgery. And all those sleepless nights at the hospital, eating unsalty hospital food, smelling the room that you know someone might have died there--definitely a time to relax is what I need!

Aside from swimming, we played volleyball, frisbee and football which all of them I suck bigtime! Not really into sports, but if shopping is a sports then I consider myself an athlete. Hahaha!

We cap the night off at Fontana Leisure Park & Resort, where we rented a villa for one night, not my first time here so this is really a place where you can stay and enjoy facilities of a true home, you have refrigerator, a gas stove, a sink, a kitchen counter top and a place where you can grill (not sure if you still can, but you can ask though). On our way home, since we checked out lunch time we decided to have lunch at Binulo Restaurant which offers authentic Kapampangan cuisine. My grandmother is a Kapampangan, and if you know that Kapampangan are the best cooks. Ehem!

Anyone who is not fascinated by the beauty of Central Park or even dreamt of going there must not be a hopeless romantic. I am guilty one indeed. Hahaha. So anyways, usually every month my officemates creates townhall activities for all of us to be more bonded and united and to just set aside our indifferences. 

This month our commitee decided to do it differently-- the outdoors. And surprisingly I am not a fan of outdoor activities, I love the outdoors just by simply laying around and just appreciate serenity.

So Ayala Triangle Park is our venue which is just couple blocks away from our office, call time is 6am. So imagine me waking up at 4am since I live in Antipolo. Ayala Triangle Park is situated in the heart of Makati, at the heart of CBD of Makati City. Filled with runners, lovers, food lovers during the night since its a place where you can run, eat and just adore the night lights of Makati skyscrapers.

I seldom go to Ayala Triangle Park, and when our day for the townhall. I was simply amazed.
